Ijaz is an engineer by education and an experience of four decades working in various functions of large oil companies internationally. He has served over twenty-three years in Aramco Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, and fifteen years at Shell at various professional and managerial positions. He retired as GM and Director of Operations, at Shell. He also worked as the CEO of Pakistan Refinery (Shell, Chevron, PSO JV). He has served as Director on the following Boards for over the last 12 years: Pak Arab Pipeline Co, PRL, Shell Pakistan, Pak Grease Co Ltd, and Petroleum Institute of Pakistan. Currently, he is a member Board of Directors for various Descon companies as well DTI.
